Google Play Purchase Policy

Terms regarding subscriptions and purchases made via Google Play.

1. General Information

This policy applies to all users who download the Zupiyo OTT mobile application from the Google Play Store and engage in in-app purchases. Our Android application fully complies with Google Play's Developer Content Policy and Billing Guidelines.

When you purchase digital content or credits through our Android app, the transaction is processed securely by Google Play. Nexra Corppe Private Limited ("Zupiyo OTT") does not directly process your credit card or banking information for these transactions.

2. In-App Purchases (IAP)

Zupiyo OTT utilizes Google Play's In-App Billing system for the sale of virtual items, specifically "Credit Packs."

  • Virtual Currency: Users can purchase credits to unlock premium Pay-Per-View content. These credits are valid indefinitely unless otherwise stated.
  • One-Time Payments: Currently, our purchases are non-recurring. We do not automatically renew subscriptions or deduct funds without your explicit authorization for each transaction.
  • Instant Delivery: Upon successful payment confirmation from Google, the purchased credits are instantly deposited into your Zupiyo Wallet.

3. Refund Policy for Google Play Transactions

Because Google Play manages the billing for Android in-app purchases, refunds are subject to Google's refund policies as well as our own.

Requesting a Refund via Google Play (Recommended)

If you made a purchase by accident or want a refund, the fastest way is to request it directly through Google:

  • Within 48 hours: You can request a refund through the Google Play Store app or website. Google usually approves these requests for accidental purchases or undelivered items.
  • After 48 hours: You will need to contact Zupiyo OTT support. Please note that we can only process refunds if the credits have NOT been used.

Requesting a Refund via Zupiyo OTT

If Google denies your request or you missed the 48-hour window, you can contact us at support@zupiyo.in with the following details:

  • Order Number: Starting with GPA. (e.g., GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567 found in your email receipt).
  • Reason for Refund: A brief explanation of the issue.

We verify the status of the credits associated with that Order Number. If the credits remain unused in your wallet, we may, at our discretion, issue a refund or reversal.

4. Payment Issues

If you have been charged but haven't received your credits:

  1. Wait for 24 hours. Sometimes Google Play transactions face delays.
  2. Check your internet connection and restart the app.
  3. Verify that you received a receipt from Google Play. If you didn't, the purchase likely failed, and you will not be charged (or the hold will drop).

5. Family Payment Method

When you use a family payment method on Google Play, the family manager authorizes purchases. Zupiyo OTT is not responsible for unauthorized purchases made by family members if the device authentication settings were disabled or shared.

6. Subscription Management

If Zupiyo OTT introduces recurring subscriptions in the future via Google Play:

  • You will be able to manage and cancel your subscriptions directly from the "Payments & subscriptions" section in the Google Play Store app.
  • Uninstalling the Zupiyo app will NOT automatically cancel your subscription. You must manually cancel it in the Play Store.
