Referral Payout Policy

1. Program Overview

The Zupiyo OTT Referral Program allows active users to earn monetary rewards or platform credits by inviting new users to join the platform. This policy governs the terms of participation, commission rates, and payout procedures.

Participation in the referral program is voluntary and subject to your compliance with the Zupiyo Terms of Use. We reserve the right to modify or terminate the program at any time with or without prior notice.

2. Qualification Criteria

To earn a referral commission, the following conditions must be met:

  • Unique New User: The invited person (the "Referee") must be a new user who has never created an account on Zupiyo OTT before.
  • Valid Verification: The Referee must verify their email address and mobile number.
  • First Transaction: The referral is considered "Successful" only when the Referee makes their first real-money transaction (e.g., purchases a Credit Pack of ₹100 or more). Free trials or bonus credits usage do not count.
  • Referral Link Usage: The Referee must sign up using your unique referral link or enter your referral code during registration. We cannot manually attribute referrals if the link/code was not used.

3. Commission Structure

Our commission rates are tiered based on user activity:

  • Standard Tier: Earn 10% of the first purchase value made by your referral. (e.g., If they buy ₹500 credits, you get ₹50).
  • Influencer Tier: Verified influencers with >10k followers can apply for our Partner Program to earn 20% commission on referral purchases for the first 3 months of the new user's activity.
  • Credit Rewards: Alternatively, users can opt to receive instant Zupiyo Credits (1.5x value of cash reward) which can be used to watch content on the platform.

4. Payout Terms

Earnings are credited to your "Referral Wallet" within the app.

Redemption Options:

  • Cash Payout: You can request a cash withdrawal to your bank account once your Referral Wallet balance exceeds ₹1,000.
  • Convert to Credits: You can convert your referral earnings into Zupiyo Watch Credits instantly with no minimum limit.

Processing Time:

Cash withdrawal requests are processed on the 15th and 30th of every month. Once processed, funds may take 3-5 business days to hit your bank account.

5. Prohibited Activities & Anti-Fraud

We employ strict anti-fraud measures. The following activities lead to immediate disqualification and account ban:

  • Self-Referrals: Creating multiple accounts using different email addresses or fake identities to refer yourself.
  • Spamming: Posting referral links on Zupiyo's own social media pages, comment sections, or engaging in mass email spamming.
  • Paid Advertising: Bidding on branded keywords (e.g., "Zupiyo Login," "Zupiyo Free") to drive traffic to your referral link is prohibited.
  • Bot Traffic: Using bots, emulators, or scripts to simulate sign-ups.

6. Validity and Expiry

Referral earnings have an expiration policy to encourage active participation:

  • Wallet Expiry: Unwithdrawn referral earnings in your cash wallet expire after 12 months of inactivity.
  • Link Validity: Referral links do not expire, but we reserve the right to deactivate codes for inactive users (no logins for 6 months).

7. Liability Limitation

Zupiyo OTT is not responsible for tracking referrals that fail due to cookie blocking, ad blockers, or user error (e.g., forgetting to enter the code). Payouts are made at our sole discretion based on our system's attribution data, which is final.
